Chairman of Bilohorodska Community Anton Ovsienko personally thanked students from grades 9–11 of Sviatopetrivske village. At a critical moment, the boys and girls were among the first to come to the aid of residents of the house damaged on June 2 — clearing debris, removing belongings, and cleaning up construction waste.

Landmark 100th Session of Bilohorodka Village Council: Military Aid, Budget Results, and Infrastructure Decisions

Bilohorodka Village Council held its 100th plenary session of the regular session. Deputies approved the next transfer of aid to two military units and the volunteer formation, approved the budget execution report for the first quarter of 2026 with positive dynamics, and made changes to key community development programs.

Bilohorod Village Council Allocated Funds for Restoring Damaged Homes and Supporting Military

The Executive Committee of Bilohorod Village Council approved the allocation of 455 thousand UAH for restoring 30 homes in Sviatopetrivske that were damaged by shelling on June 2. Additionally, payments were approved for 57 military personnel and their families, as well as material assistance under the "Care" program.

Anton Ovsiienko held the first in-person meeting with Jean-François Vigier, the Mayor of Bilohorodka's French sister city, Bures-sur-Yvette. The French delegation explored the local council's wartime operations, visited educational and healthcare facilities in Bilohorodka and Sviatopetrivske, and experienced the region's cultural landscape and local businesses.

Eliminating the Aftermath of Enemy Attack: Damage Recorded in Bilohorodka Community, Affected Residents Receiving Assistance

Following another massive missile and drone attack, debris from downed enemy UAVs damaged private houses and warehouses in Bilohorodka, Shevchenkove, and Sviatopetrivske. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Emergency services are working on-site, and local authorities are assisting residents with compensation procedures.

Supporting the Frontline: Bilohorodka Community Co-funded 54 Pickups for the 72nd Brigade and Transferred Tech Equipment to KORD

Anton Ovsiienko, alongside the leadership of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and heads of regional communities, handed over 54 pickups to the legendary 72nd Brigade—the largest vehicle batch funded jointly by the region. Additionally, in cooperation with the Kyiv Region National Police, the KORD special forces unit on the Kharkiv direction received FPV drones, EW systems, and Starlink stations.

Anton Ovsiienko has been leading Bilohorodka and the entire community for over five years, a significant portion of which has coincided with the period of full-scale war. Today, the community directs hundreds of millions of hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while simultaneously seeking a balance between the needs of the frontline and the development of infrastructure, education, and energy independence. The head of the community spoke in an interview with KV about wartime challenges, the growing number of IDPs, international partnerships, the launch of modern prosthetics for veterans, and his vision for the community's future after victory.

Bilohorodka Community at the International Forum Nordic-Ukrainian Municipal Partnership

Despite a massive attack on Lviv, the international forum «Nordic-Ukrainian Municipal Partnership» brought together representatives of European communities. Anton Ovsienko and his deputy Pavlo Regan presented the experience of partnership with the Tyresö commune (Sweden): since 2023, 91 children from military families and internally displaced persons have already vacationed in Sweden. A personal meeting with municipal council chair Anita Mattsson confirmed: cooperation is growing stronger, and Bilohorodka Community is confidently moving toward a European future.
