Temple holidays in the Bilohirsk community are always much more than just dates in the church calendar. These are special days when residents of our villages gather together to find spiritual support, encourage one another, and share common hopes. Today, in times of full-scale war, each such divine service becomes a sincere prayer for Ukraine, for the victory of good, and for the safe return of our Defenders and Protectors.
This week our community experienced an intense spiritual life, observing several important festive dates at once:

In Saint Peter's Church, the parish of the Church of the Holy First-Rank Apostles Peter and Paul celebrated its patronal feast day. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Archbishop Agapitus of Vyshhorod (OCU). He was assisted by the Dean of Vyshnevsky Deanery and the rector of the church, Protopriest Mikhail Tkach, and invited clergy.

In Bilohirsk, the local community celebrated the Synaxis of the Twelve Holy and All-Praised Apostles. The festive Conciliar Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Twelve Apostles was led by Bishop Theodosius of Irpin.

In Bobrytsya, a special joint prayer took place in the Holy Pokrov Church, attended by the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine, together with Archbishop Agapitus and Bishop Theodosius.
This day in Bobrytsya will be remembered for another important event—the anniversary of the rector of the church, Father Rostislav.
"For me, Father Rostislav is a man of deep wisdom, unbreakable faith, and great inner strength," noted Anton Ovsienko. "I sincerely wish him strong health, God's blessing, and the strength to continue serving people and our community with such dedication."
Despite all the challenges, our villages continue to live not only with troubling news, but also with shared good deeds, holding onto their spiritual roots. At the same time, today's prayers are filled with the profound pain that the entire country is experiencing. On July 3, Kyiv declared a Day of Mourning for those who died in another cynical attack by the enemy.
We express our heartfelt condolences to all who have lost loved ones. Eternal memory to each whose life was taken by Russian aggression.
We thank our defenders for the opportunity to gather in our native churches. Let us care for one another, support those who are suffering the most, and remember: the strength of our community lies in unity, humanity, and faith in Ukraine! 💙💛
