Community Pride: 177 Talented Lyceum Students from Bilohorod District Received Cash Prizes and Awards

A solemn awards ceremony took place at the House of Culture in Horenych village as part of the "Meeting Children Halfway" program. This year, 177 of the community's best students received well-deserved cash prizes and awards for their intellectual, scientific, patriotic, and sports achievements.

177 reasons to be proud of Bilohorod Community. That is how many talented and determined lyceum students received honorary awards and cash prizes today within the municipal program "Meeting Children Halfway".

The solemn event took place at the House of Culture in Horenych village. This year, 177 students from five educational institutions in the community received well-deserved awards — those who worked tirelessly throughout the school year, conducted research, competed, won, and honorably represented their lyceums far beyond the borders of Bilohorod District.

Recognition of leaders and award winners took place in four specialized categories:

  • "MAN" — 34 lyceum students who successfully defended their research papers and took their first serious steps in science.

  • "Intellectuals" — 27 students who demonstrated the highest results at district, regional, and all-Ukrainian subject olympiads and competitions.

  • "Sports" — 100 lyceum students who won prizes and honorably defended the sports reputation of the community at competitions of various levels.

  • Military-Patriotic Game "Sokil" ("Dzhura") — 16 students who demonstrated true team spirit, endurance, high discipline, and dedication to Ukraine.

This year, the "Sports" category became a record holder in terms of the number of nominees. This once again proves that Bilohorod Community is home to exceptionally active youth, and the community itself confidently maintains its status as one of the most sports-oriented in the region.

Head of the Community Anton Ovsienko emphasized that a strong community is not just about reconstruction or infrastructure development. It is first and foremost about children who think, create, and are already shaping Ukraine's new future today. The head of the community expressed deep gratitude to lyceum directors, teachers, coaches, mentors, and parents, whose daily support helps young talents move forward with confidence.
