Today, July 27, during the plenary session of the 102nd extraordinary session of Bilohorod village council, the deputy body adopted a series of strategic decisions aimed at social support for families and strengthening the security infrastructure of the community under martial law.
The main news for local residents was the approval of changes to the Program for the Development and Functioning of the Education System. The session officially approved the acceptance of 12 million hryvnias in state funds to be directed toward providing free hot meals to students. Thus, starting September 1, 2026, free lunches in educational institutions of the community will be provided to absolutely all schoolchildren from grades 1 through 11, regardless of their eligibility status.
An equally important set of decisions concerned safety and civil protection. Deputies authorized the executive bodies of the village council to use reserve fund resources to eliminate the consequences of military-related emergencies. This step will allow the community to respond as quickly as possible — without bureaucratic delays — to possible enemy attacks, finance priority emergency work, firefighting, and debris clearance.
Additionally, during the session, corresponding changes were made to the Civil Protection and Fire Safety Program, and the Bilohorod community budget for 2026 was adjusted to ensure complete financial support for all adopted decisions.
Community head Anton Ovsienko thanked the deputy body for their productive work, consolidation, and responsible position in protecting the interests of residents.
