Care and Support: A Large-Scale Forum for Veterans and Their Families Held in Bilohorodka

An open informational and educational event titled "Together for Veterans and Their Families: Opportunities, Support, Development" was held at the Cultural Center of Bilohorodka village. Participants discussed available social programs, medical services, the launch of a support specialist institute, and other directions of assistance.

Support for veterans, military personnel, and their families should be clear, accessible, and real. That is why it is important to meet, speak directly, and listen to each other. Today, an informational and educational event "Together for Veterans and Their Families: Opportunities, Support, Development" took place at the Cultural Center of Bilohorodka village.

The head of the community, Anton Ovsienko, along with colleagues, met with veterans, military personnel, families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, as well as families of the missing and prisoners of war. During the meeting, they discussed what truly matters to people — accessible municipal and state support programs, medical and social services, veterans' sports, the work of support specialists, the activities of the Veterans' Council, and the opportunities that are already being implemented in the Bilohorodka community.

For the community leadership, such meetings are important primarily because of the opportunity for direct communication. Because it is in direct dialogue that we can best see which mechanisms work effectively, where additional clarification is needed, and which issues require prompt attention. The main goal is to ensure that every veteran or family member of a military personnel clearly knows where to turn and what assistance they can expect.
