Supporting the Frontline: Bilohorodka Community Co-funded 54 Pickups for the 72nd Brigade and Transferred Tech Equipment to KORD

Anton Ovsiienko, alongside the leadership of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and heads of regional communities, handed over 54 pickups to the legendary 72nd Brigade—the largest vehicle batch funded jointly by the region. Additionally, in cooperation with the Kyiv Region National Police, the KORD special forces unit on the Kharkiv direction received FPV drones, EW systems, and Starlink stations.

54 new pickup trucks for the legendary 72nd "Black Zaporozhians" Brigade mark the largest batch of vehicles ever purchased through the joint co-funding of the Kyiv region and its local communities. Together with the leadership of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, including Mykola Kalashnyk, Members of Parliament, and heads of Kyiv region communities, we handed over these vehicles to our Defenders, who perform combat missions daily in the hottest areas of the front.

The Bilohorodka community actively joined this procurement by allocating funds from the local budget. Furthermore, in cooperation with the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv Region, we provided the KORD special forces unit operating in the Kharkiv direction with essential technological equipment, including FPV drones, Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, fiber-optic communication complexes, control stations, and Starlink terminals.

Today, speed, technology, and transport are what often save the lives of our military and help them effectively accomplish combat missions. Pooling the resources of the Kyiv region, Bilohorodka, and 10 other regional communities allowed us to promptly fulfill this massive request from the frontline.

I want to thank the taxpayers of the Bilohorodka community—it is thanks to you that we can systematically support the Defense Forces. Special gratitude goes to the city council deputies for supporting this decision. We will continue doing this for as long as it takes for our Victory! Glory to Ukraine!
