Strategic Project

Educational Transformation: Reconstruction and Energy Independence of Educational Institutions

Three facilities — Sviatopetrivskyi Academic Lyceum, Horenytskyi Lyceum and Kindergarten Barvinkók — become part of the broader strategy for Ukraine's recovery. A modern, safe and autonomous space for the community's children.

Educational Transformation: Reconstruction and Energy Independence of Educational Institutions

Investment in the Next Generation

Bilohorodska Hromada is beginning a new phase of developing its educational infrastructure. This is not just construction — it is the creation of a modern, safe and autonomous space for our children.

Sviatopetrivskyi Academic Lyceum

Facility 1

Sviatopetrivskyi Academic Lyceum

Construction of a new wing — 20 classrooms and an area up to 6,646.67 m²

The construction of a new academic wing will increase the total area to 6,646.67 m² and add 20 new classrooms, significantly reducing overcrowding and enabling a full educational process.

The new wing is designed in accordance with the standards of the ‘New Ukrainian School’ and civil protection requirements — with a modern shelter and autonomous engineering systems for lighting, ventilation and communications.

Horenytskyi Lyceum

Facility 2

Horenytskyi Lyceum

Full reconstruction and construction of a new wing to NUS standards

Full reconstruction with the addition of a new wing. The project is adapted to the standards of the ‘New Ukrainian School’ and modern security requirements, including protective structures with autonomous power supply.

The renovated institution will receive a modern technical base, spaces for group work and the ability to integrate alternative energy sources — solar panels and heat pumps.

Construction of a second wing — 14 groups and 14 new playgrounds

The construction of a second wing will increase the number of groups to 14, and the total area will grow from 2,834 to 6,980.33 m². There will be 14 new modern playgrounds.

The project addresses the acute problem of waiting lists for kindergartens and provides children with modern conditions for upbringing and development within the community.

These projects are the result of our systematic work with international partners. We are not just adding floors — we are embedding the idea of autonomy and safety into these buildings. A child should study in a warm, modern school where light and safety do not depend on external circumstances. This is our shared victory and our contribution to the future of Bilohorodska Hromada.

Energy Autonomy as a Foundation

Principles of Modern Construction

Reconstruction projects are developed taking into account modern challenges and the experience of implementing energy-independent solutions in the community.

🏗️

Thermal Modernisation

Full insulation of facades and use of energy-saving materials to minimise heat loss in academic buildings.

Engineering Resilience

Renovated buildings are designed with the ability to integrate solar panels, heat pumps and uninterruptible power supply systems.

🛡️

Autonomous Safety

All facilities will receive modern shelters with independent lighting, ventilation and communications that operate without external networks.

Reconstruction Facilities

Three educational institutions covered by the large-scale reconstruction project co-financed by the EIB.
