Enemy attack on Sviatopetrivske: community eliminates consequences of hits

On the night of August 28, as a result of an enemy strike in Sviatopetrivske, warehouse premises of Nova Poshta and an adjacent production facility were damaged. All emergency services are working at the scene, traffic is restricted in the village and smoke is observed.

Bilohorod community has suffered another devastating enemy strike. In the village of Sviatopetrivske, hits were recorded on the warehouse premises of Nova Poshta, as well as damage to a production facility located nearby. Information regarding possible casualties is being clarified.

Elimination of consequences and threat of repeated strikes

Community leadership is present at the scene and all necessary emergency and municipal services have been engaged: units of the State Emergency Service, a calculation of the Local Fire Department, police, and utility workers.

The enemy employed a tactic of repeated strikes — almost an hour after the first hit, when rescuers were already fighting the fire, two more strikes were delivered to the same location. Firefighters managed to retreat to a safe place. Given this, residents are urged to strictly avoid approaching the scene of the event.

Safety rules for residents and traffic restrictions for drivers

In connection with the elimination of attack consequences, the following measures have been taken:

  • For residents of Sviatopetrivske and adjacent territories: due to significant smoke, windows must be closed and if possible, avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary.

  • For drivers (traffic restrictions on August 28):

    • Traffic is temporarily restricted on a section of Kyivska Street in the direction of the city of Boyarka.

    • Traffic is restricted on sections of Industrialna and Chornovola Streets in Sviatopetrivske. Drivers are asked to take this into account in advance when planning routes.

We express deep gratitude to the rescuers, police officers, and utility workers for their prompt work in extremely dangerous conditions. We stand firm and take care of ourselves.
