Memory of Heroes and Pride in Youth: Highlights of the Bilohorod Village Council Executive Committee

Honor and Memory to the Fallen Defenders

The meeting began with the execution of an important mission — the presentation of state and military honors to the families of soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine:

  • Dmytro Shapoval was posthumously awarded the President of Ukraine's award "For the Defense of Ukraine". The award was presented to the wife of the deceased — Vitalina Shapoval.

  • Vitaly Kusik was posthumously awarded the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine's award "Cross of Territorial Defense Forces". The award was handed to his wife — Olga Kusik.

  • Andriy Dyachenko was posthumously awarded the "Combatant's Cross" of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the badge "Honor and Memory". The awards were received by the Hero's mother — Olena Volodymyrivna Dyachenko.

  • Igor Tulyakov was posthumously awarded the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's awards "Combatant's Cross" and "Honor and Memory", as well as the Ministry of Defense's award "Knight's Cross". The awards were presented to his wife — Alla Bondar.

If they enroll in Ukrainian higher educational institutions, each of these graduates will have the right to receive an increased Presidential scholarship.

Such high results are a shared outcome of students' diligent work, parental support, and the professionalism of educators. The Bilohorod community continues to live, remember its Heroes, and invest in a bright future for Ukraine.
