"Kolo Nezlamnykh" in Muzychi: Bilohorodka Community Hosted Regional Fishing Competition for Veterans

More than 70 defenders and their families gathered at a lake in Muzychi to swap the hardships of combat for a cozy rest with loved ones.

On February 22, Bilohorodka Community became a center of warmth and unity for veterans of Kyiv Region. At a local lake in the village of Muzychi, a large-scale event took place — a sport fishing competition as part of the regional project "Kolo Nezlamnykh" (Circle of the Unbroken).

The event united more than 70 participants who came to the competition with their wives and children. The main goal was not just sport, but psychological relief and a chance to spend time with family in an atmosphere of support.

Competition and Cossack Hospitality

Veterans competed in catching carp, pike, catfish, and perch. The real highlight came on the shore — after the competition, all participants were welcomed by a field kitchen:

  • Fragrant fish soup cooked over an open fire;

  • Authentic Cossack porridge;

  • Hot drinks for warming up and heartfelt conversation.

The sports celebration was the result of successful cooperation between the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the Ukrainian Anglers Club, and the Bilohorodka Village Council.

"It is very pleasant that such events take place in our community. Today, not only skilled anglers won, but the warmth of human hearts. The main result is the smiles of our defenders and the sense that we are one big family. Bilohorodka Community is always happy to host such bright gatherings", — noted the community head.
