Bilohorodka Community head Anton Ovsienko, together with his deputy Pavlo Regan, took part in the forum as part of a working trip. The event brought together partners from various countries, including representatives of the twin community — the Tyresö commune from the Kingdom of Sweden.
Forum participants exchanged experiences in inter-municipal cooperation and discussed new areas of joint work. Bilohorodka Community presented the results of a three-year partnership with Tyresö — primarily in organizing recreation for children. Since 2023, 91 children have already visited Sweden — students from local lyceums, children from military families and internally displaced persons. For them, it is a chance to experience a safe childhood, at least for a while.
A special event was a personal meeting with the Chair of the Municipal Council of the Tyresö commune — Ms. Anita Mattsson, who came to Ukraine. Such meetings are not only a symbol of partnership, but also the foundation for new joint projects.
Cooperation with the Tyresö commune will continue. Bilohorodka Community is grateful to Swedish and European partners for their support, openness, and trust. Because this support is not abstract. It is felt by specific people. Specific children.
We continue to work. For a strong community. For the people. For the European future of Ukraine. 💙💛
