SAFETY FIRST: BILOHORODKA COMMUNITY RECEIVES FIRE LADDER TRUCK FROM AUSTRIAN PARTNERS

The emergency vehicle fleet of the Bilohorodka community has been bolstered by a fire ladder truck from the partner city of Korneuburg (Austria). This equipment will enable rescuers to work effectively in high-rise buildings and improve safety across 10 settlements.

Today, March 30, the Bilohorodka community received a critical reinforcement for its emergency services: a specialized fire ladder truck from our partner city, Korneuburg (Austria). This vehicle will significantly enhance the capabilities of our Local Fire Team, which protects 10 settlements and assists in firefighting efforts throughout the Kyiv region.

Previously, the team operated with only one water tank truck. The addition of the ladder truck represents a major upgrade, particularly for operations in high-rise buildings. Given the limited availability of such equipment in the Bucha district, this vehicle is essential for rapid response.

The handover ceremony was attended by Henrike Brandstötter, Member of the Austrian National Council, and Robert Müller, Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine. Following specialized training, the crew will begin using the truck for daily operations. We extend our gratitude to our Austrian partners and the Kyiv Regional Administration for their continued support in strengthening community safety.659405886 1521794826616454 2562783124438958900 N
