Anton Ovsienko: We Are Working on Creating Our Own Bus Routes to Kyiv as an Alternative to Private Carriers

Reaction to rising fares: Bilohorodka Village Council sent inquiries to regulatory authorities and is preparing to launch municipal routes based on Czech buses.

The Bilohorodka Village Council received a large number of complaints from residents about sharp price increases for travel with private minibuses. Community head Anton Ovsienko promptly responded to citizens' appeals.

Legal Measures and Fare Control

On January 21, the following measures were taken:

  • Official letters: Requests were sent to the Transport Infrastructure Management of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and Ukrtransbezpeka.

  • Requests to carriers: Fare justification requirements were sent to LLC "EURO-AUTO-ALLIANCE", LLC "Klayt", and PPI "Nadiya-2000".

Creating a Municipal Route

Two strategic routes have been developed:

  1. Route No. 1: Nehrashi – Muzychi – Luka – Hnativka – Horenyvchi – Stoianka – Shevchenkove – Bilohorodka.

  2. Route No. 2: Bilohorodka – Sviatopetrivske – Vyshneye – Sofiivska Borshchahivka – Kyiv (Akademmistechko metro) – Bus Station "Dachna".

"Our goal is to make the route to Kyiv as accessible as possible. For this we have the necessary resource: three modern low-floor buses received from Prague as humanitarian aid", — emphasized Anton Ovsienko.
